Hi I’m Kathy and this is my first post for The Gambia blog – this is to highlight an upcoming Nyodema event to raise money for health and education projects in The Gambia. All are welcome!

Gospel Sing for The Gambia

Charity Nyodema joins forces with British Gospel Arts, The Regis School of
Music and Bourne Community College to bring you a one-day workshop followed
by a performance at 4pm. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Workshop: £20 (£15 under 18s)
Performance: Suggested minimum donation £2

Kathryn has worked for The Gambia Experience as a graphic designer and photographer since 2005. As well as writing for this blog and various other publications we produce she writes her own travel blog, 'Travel with Kat'. The Gambia Experience runs The School Development Fund (SDF) which assists schools in The Gambia and Kathryn leads the SDF UK team. Outside of work she is chairman and founder of a community group called Nyodema, which raises funds for children's health and eduction projects in The Gambia and she enjoys performing with both their African drumming group and choir.
